The practical portion. Oh joy. Emily bit her lip as she read the instructions in the provided textbook on how to make a boil solution. Next to Ancient Runes and Defense Against the Dark Arts, Emily was fairly good with potions. She stirred counter-clockwise twice, as instructed, and removed her cauldron from the heat before adding Runespore venom.

Zelphar added the firequills to his elixir, as instructed to do so by the book he was allowed to use. He notice Emily a few tables away, working diligently. Zelphar bit his lip as he stirred. Jane stood by he cauldron with the book open. She just starred at it. She didn't do anything. What was the point? She was just going to fail anyway. All trying ever got anyone was failure. Those who are good at something don't try at all and they never did. They were just stupid brats.
